third day of being sick

bernice is better today, brought her to ah ma's house. and she was dressed in a sweet pink dress...

Still feeling a little lethargic, and daddy decided to make her feel more bored by reading to her..

seems to be looking at the book..

Well, not that i am kiasu, but daddy has been going for a course in early childhood education, thus he strongly believes in cultivating the reading interest since young. well, if doing this can make her love reading, and reduce my nagging at her in future to go and read storybooks like what my mum did to me in primary school, i shall do this to her now. Hmm, i have never loved reading coz maybe my mum has never read to me at such a tender age.. so, let's just try this on bernice. Let's put it this way, we try to inculcate her interest by reading to her, hopefully to make her love reading unknowingly so that reading will not be a chore to her, but something she enjoys. If she shows dislike or anything, we will stop and not force her.

SEPARATION ANXIETY....ahhhhh... back again.. went down with daddy to buy sth while at ah ma's house and she cried the moment you count ten after we lock the door... cried for a whole one hour. while at the stairs, ah gong called us to quickly go back coz she was crying very badly, and when we went back, she was crying and tears flowed, mucus flowed.. this stopped immediately when daddy carried her.. quite worried about leaving her to go genting during the long weekend of national day.. but daddy says we must learn to let her go, and she must learn to let us go...

second day of being sick...

bernice is feeling so tired and lethargic due to her cough, my heart just breaks when i hear her coughing with all the phlegm... dear dear get well soon ok, mummy luv u.

Bernice is sick for the first time

Knew that this will happen one day, just din noe it will be so soon.. felt super guilty when i heard her coughing, is it because i din take good care of her? is it because i only gave her breast milk for a month, thus making her less strong? or what?

yup... bernice is sick.. down with cough and running nose.. took her to the doctor last friday, took time off in the morning.

went to the polyclinic coz no clinic open so early i think... As usual spent some time waiting there..

Anyway, doctor said bernice jus has a cough and nothing serious... hopefully she gets well soon

Stomach upset

Bernice has been feeling unwell on Monday night, cried at 8 plus pm. Cried and vomitted at 3am. Woke up the next day and was cranky.

Conclusion: We rushed into feeding her with brown rice cereal.
Lesson learnt: Not to rush into things especially for her.

Guess i misunderstood what wai po said and instead of givin gher a spoonful of brown rice a day, i gave her at every meal time in her milk. Proved to be too much for her, she could not digest properly and had a stomach upset.

Fortunately, she felt better yesterday, eating normally and slept through the night without fussing about her tummy.

Must really be more conscious about how to take care of her.
