Middle name

I just had the time to read yesterday's papers and i was a little disturbed that it is more common for young people nowadays to come up with a middle name in addition to the English name that they already have. For example, Shaun Perry Png, Oliver James Tan and so on.

Why disturbed? All along, i do not have an English name, unless Weichi Lee Weiqi counts. So, initially, i did not have the intention to give Bernice an English name until some friends around me told me rather than let her grow up and give herself some funny English name, might as well her daddy and mummy give it to her. And, i was feeling rather happy about it until i saw in the newspaper that it is getting common to have a middle name. ARRRGH.. my hopes of her not giving a funny name to herself is dashed... haha
