Starry starry night

When i was in secondary school and used to go camping at the campsite at Pulau Ubin, it was a nightmare. Nothing half as comfortable as the camps they have now.

1)We had to walk all the way from the jetty to the Ulu campsite half an hour away, with the CIs on bicycles hurrying us along.

2) The mosquitoes there were highly trained and buzzing in our ears the whole night through.

3) The CIs then pumped us like nobody's business.

4) The slope from the assemble area in the campsite to our tents was rather steep and muddy. And, instead of running down, i ended up rolling down most of the time.

5) Night patroling was horrible. Already super tired still had to do night patroling. Once, i got left
behind by my group coz they claimed they woke me up and i acknowleged them but i did not follow. They came up and found me sleeping there. The best part was while they were checking attendance, they din even discover me missing!!! What if i had been eaten by a wild boar???

Anyway, the point is the only enjoyable part about going Ubin is that the stars there are very beautiful as there are not so many lights.

Beautiful.. .
